Overview
The Trailer Mechanic will work on the service and maintenance of light, medium and heavy-duty trailers.
Job Description
- Diagnose and repair electrical
- Perform DOT inspections
- Preventative maintenance on all trailers as needed
- Detailed communication with service coordinator on results of diagnoses and detailed parts list
- Maintain clean and organized work area, including putting away all tools and cleaned bays at the end of the shift
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
The Trailer Mechanic should confidently have:
- Minimum 2-5 years of trailer experience
- Motivation and ablility to work well with others
- MI State Mechanic certificate
- Valid driver’s license
- Welding and fabrication experience, preferred
- High school diploma or vocational college degree, preferred
